A little beyond El Hoyo, a right turn over the Epuyén River and follows a path that winds through fields and forests. After 10 kms, we reached the northern tip of the Epuyén Lake. It's a place of excellence for aquatic sports and fishing, with the characteristic of having small sandy beaches in an area protected from the winds, with calm waters highly transparent and navigable throughout the year. With grocery and camping services, it's the ideal place for short walks in the woods, make a barbecue in the kitchen while the kids enjoy the water, or just enjoy the peace of the place. Piltriquitrón hillThe Piltriquitrón hill is the imposing mass of rock that dominates El Bolsón. In the slope of the hill (also called "Villa Turismo") are located beautiful private houses and the majority of the complex of cabins for your stay. You can climb to its summit (2,200 meters) or to the shelter located approximately 1200 meters. The platform (also a paraglider runway) can be reached by car, then move up a relatively easy path to the refuge. From there we will have a spectacular view of the valley and the Cordillera. On a clear day you can see the Tronador hill, 100 kms away. Cabeza del IndioIt's a rocky formation caused by the glacial actions on a wall facing west on Loma del Medio. From there we will see the same view as from the Viewer. Can be reached by a path in the woods or along a narrow ledge trail. |
