In what once was El Trébol, and in accordance with an agreement with El Hoyo's Municipality, this National Park was created. Argentinian pioneers settled in the place, even before Chubut had become a province. In love with the unparalleled beauty of the Pitre and Myrtle's forests and the blue of the lake, they did not hesitate to work for years to open roads, to breed livestock and improve the races and leave their heirs what is now a forced attraction for all visitors. Botanical GardenWhere Escondida waterfalls begins one will find a unique botanical garden in Patagonia. This has trails where one can distinguish the native species of those introduced by the villagers, 30km. from Puelo Lake. Other places to visit- Indian Museum of natural sciences. |
